Shepherd's Pie | Basics with Babish

Unlike most St. Patty's Day celebrations, shepherd's pie is full of distinctly Irish ingredients. Treat yourself to this easy, flavorful, comforting classic - and leave out the green food coloring. There are peas and chives, those are all the green you need.

You're from the Northeast, you shouldn't be unable to pronounce Worcestershire.
Look up how people from Massachusetts pronounce Worcester. Then see how Shire is pronounced in New Hampshire. Combine. Done.

Idk what all these comments acting incredulous about tomato paste in the shepherd's pie are about. Recipe after recipe for shepherd's/cottage pie online use tomato paste. My own recipe has it in it. Also he never said this was traditional, he even said "it may not be the most traditional but it's really good" paraphrased of course.
